Creating a nature inspired brand identity for Jumanji—drawing on green, organic motifs and scalable technology visuals to echo its roots in reinforcement learning environments.


The challenge was to weave together the raw vitality of nature with the precision of high-performance algorithms. The identity needed to feel grounded yet tech-forward, standing out in the research and development space while remaining approachable and organic.


I started by immersing in the themes of growth, ecosystems and natural systems—exploring leaf-patterns, terrain textures, and flows found in nature. Collaboration with the development team revealed the core attributes: scalability, speed, diversity of environments. From there I sketched abstract motifs that merged data-flows with branching vines.
Next, I refined those motifs into a cohesive identity system: a logo built of layered geometry evoking leaves and nodes, a palette of deep greens and muted tech-tones, and marketing assets that overlay natural-texture gradients with clean, minimal layout. This system was then applied across digital banners, GitHub assets, and research-paper visuals.



The identity blends organic textures and green tones with clean lines and high‑tech visual cues—reflecting both nature and computing in harmony.
Every graphic element and asset was designed to scale—just as Jumanji’s environments scale—with modular components, adaptable layouts, and flexible use-cases from small social posts to full-scale event backdrops.
The logo and visual system stand apart in the RL / AI space by using nature‑inspired symbolism rather than cold circuitry or abstract tech tropes—giving Jumanji a recognisable, unique presence.

The brand identity for Jumanji emerged as a living system that bridges green natural energy and high-speed research dynamics. The logo, palette and assets give it a visual life—and across GitHub, papers and promotional material the project now has a unified voice that resonates with both researchers and nature-enthused technologists.
